In brief, the electric vehicle controller is composed of peripheral devices and the main chip (or microcontroller). Peripheral devices are some functional devices, such as execution, sampling, etc. They are resistors, sensors, bridge switching circuits, and devices that assist the microcontroller or use integrated circuits to complete the control process; Single chip microcomputer, also known as microcontroller, is a computer chip that integrates memory, decoder with conversion signal language, sawtooth wave generator, pulse width modulation functional circuit, drive circuit and input/output port that can make the switching circuit power tube turn on or off, and control the motor speed by controlling the conduction time of power tube through square wave. This is the intelligent controller of the electric bicycle.

The working principle of electric vehicle mainly depends on its controller to coordinate the work of motor, battery and other accessories. It is very good in the controller industry of electric vehicles.

The basic principle of the electric vehicle controller is to control the motor speed and current by changing the average value of the motor power supply voltage with intermittent power supply under the condition that the battery voltage is basically constant. The operation of the motor can meet the control requirements. At present, the main control method is the PWM pulse width modulation control mechanism (Note: within the required time, the DC voltage is modulated into a series of voltage pulses with equal amplitude and different width to control the frequency, voltage and current).

The electric vehicle controller uses PWM circuit to control the output power of the motor. The switch modulation function is realized by the high-frequency switching power device MOS tube, which is used as the switch to perform high-frequency chopping intermittent power supply, thus solving the speed and current controllability of the motor.
