The electric vehicle motor is generally guaranteed for three years, and the actual service life is generally 5-10 years depending on the motor.
Electric vehicle motor refers to the driving motor used for electric vehicles. The forms are also different according to the use environment and frequency. Different types of motors have different characteristics. At present, permanent magnet DC motors are widely used in electric vehicles. The electric vehicle of electric bicycle is mainly wheel motor, and the electric tricycle motor is mainly middle motor.
Attention shall be paid to the following points for motor maintenance:
Pay attention to the fact that the riding belt is not equipped with brakes. The heating of the riding motor with brakes causes the demagnetization of the magnetic steel, which causes the vehicle to be weak and shortens the endurance mileage.
The motor shall be repaired in time in case of noise, and the bearing shall be checked to prevent the steel grains in the bearing from rolling out and cutting off the coil, which may cause the motor to be scrapped,
Try not to ride where there is water. The motor is not as closed as we imagined. Water is easy to enter, but it is difficult to get out. If you can't get out for a long time, the magnetic steel will rust, and the bearing will be easy to damage, causing electricity consumption, motor heating, and reducing mileage! (The differential motor of electric tricycle needs to be replaced with gear oil every six months)
The reason why brushless DC motor is widely used in electric vehicles is that it has the following two advantages compared with traditional brushless DC motor.
Long service life, maintenance free, high reliability. In the brush DC motor, the brush and commutator wear quickly due to the high speed of the motor. Generally, the brush needs to be replaced after 1000 hours of operation.
In addition, the technical difficulty of its reduction gear box is relatively large, which is the lubrication problem of the transmission gear and a relatively big problem in the current brush scheme. Therefore, the brush motor has problems such as high noise, low efficiency, and easy to cause faults. Therefore, the brushless DC motor is very obvious.
Detect the motor hall! Use the 20v gear of the multimeter, insert the red pen into the positive pole of Hall, insert the black pen into the yellow, green and blue of Hall, open the power lock, and gently rotate the motor wheel with your hand. If the voltage changes, it indicates that the corresponding Hall is normal. Generally, the transformation voltage is 0-5v. On the contrary, if the voltage does not change, the corresponding Hall is broken, and replace it.
Remove the motor! Spray the screws to be removed with rust remover to make removal convenient and effortless! Do not throw the screws randomly to avoid missing during installation!
